Community Safety Team update

To all Trinity families and staff

After a couple of reported incidents last week involving children walking to and from school the Community Safety Team has issued the following response:

Safer Neighbourhood Teams in all areas have been briefed as well as the police school teams. Community Safety Team has been patrolling schools, and so far, all is well. Police have also increased patrols and are investigating the reported incidents.

This is a timely reminder for parent/carers to speak to their children about their safety walking to/from school. Parents and children must report anything suspicious to their schools who will then escalate to police and Community Safety Team.
